Biography:

Mr Naveed Shaikh graduated from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in 1998. Most of Naveed’s surgical training has taken place in London, where he has also completed two high level sub-specialty fellowships in the treatment of all foot, ankle and knee disorders.

Mr. Shaikh has previously presented and published research papers at various scientific meetings and is passionate about teaching surgical trainees. Naveed aims to provide the highest standard of care, using safe and effective treatments to maximise patient satisfaction.

All foot, ankle and knee conditions including 

§  Bunion and toe deformity correction

§  Diagnosis and treatment of foot, ankle and knee pain

§  Treatment of arthritis affecting the foot, ankle and knee (including fusion or joint replacement)

§  Treatment of soft tissue (tendons and ligaments) injuries of the foot, ankle and knee

§  Treatment of acute injuries to the lower limb (broken bones, torn ligaments, damaged cartilage)

§  Treatment of deformity of the foot, ankle and knee

§  Treatment of heel pain

Mr Shaikh was the leading author in a research paper on the management of diabetic foot infections. He received a prize when the paper was presented at the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.

·          Mr Shaikh has published in several peer reviewed journals and has written an orthopaedic chapter in a book for medical students. Some of the publications include:
